You're A Contestant In A Game Show
The game takes place in a live studio with a host that comments on your gameplay, fun ad segments between stages, and a prize at the end
Get Flung Around By Your Ball & Chain
The player has to deal with the ball chained to their ankle. Each stage is designed to put the player in a completely safe environment where they aren't flung around at 90MPH... only 89MPH.
Puzzles With Magnets
Solve puzzles using stage elements like moving magnets, pressure plates, and grates. Each puzzle also challenges the player's skills from how they move their ball efficiently.
Challenges
For all of us, this was the biggest group that we've made a game with. I was personally responsible for organizing the programming team of 3 people. Programming had the challenging task of making a physics-based game where the main character is connected to a magnetizable ball.
Post Mortem
Everyone on our team was amazing and went above the expectations set for them. Our surprisingly high teamwork was definitely a huge factor in the high production quality. The biggest factors for teamwork were our producer, trust in our teammates, and the variety of ways to communicate. Overall, I learned how to successfully work in a large group.
