I designed levels, UI, combat, the shop, and most of the programming. This was made in a group of 4.
Challenges
We needed to make a randomly generated train with different themes and enemies with dynamic difficulty. Additionally, we needed to consider items and upgrades while balancing. The game also needed to end with a boss battle, a tutorial, and different shops with different characters.
Post Mortem
The game turned out alright, but a lot of things could've gone better. There were disagreements about the game between the team, and due to a poor decision about roles at the beginning, it ended up slowing us down. On the upside, I gained confidence in my programming skills, and my UI improved a lot.
