Challenges
I needed to create a system that saves the player's progress, and there is a lot to save. Additionally, a lot of content needed art, programming, and designing, such as the potion mini-games, and each type of resource. Additionally, balancing costs and difficulty is much harder in larger-scaled games.
Post Mortem
The game turned out fun, but I severely underestimated the time I needed to create every aspect of this game. I tried to learn something new whenever possible and didn’t cut back on my original ideas despite the extra time I spent making it. I like how a lot of things end up like the enemies, but I wish I could’ve made certain things clearer.
