Challenges
I made this during spring break, so I only had a week to make the game. Trashy has a total of 6 different attacks that all behave differently with varying projectiles. Additionally, as this game requires precision, it needed to be fairly balanced. Finally, the game tries to create a fun atmosphere with contrasting precise gameplay.
Post Mortem
By far, this was my favorite game to make and play. I still end up playing the game after beating it so many times. Everything about this project went right, from the jokey nature of Trashy and the art style to the projectile behavior and controlled randomness I implemented. It most likely stems from the order I designed everything and my clear vision.
